  My brother is part of this agency and he's been an extra on waterloo road and a new cbbc programme called the 4o'clock club. He worked almost one day a week throughout the summer holidays that was until he managed to break his foot! Recently he's been to a few castings, one for a film and one for a sky 1 drama and we are waiting to hear back from these but the work just keeps on coming for him. All this and he's only been with the agency for 8 months! When he went for his initial photo shoot, the staff were so friendly and they told us all about the 'hidden charges'. He loves doing the extra work and then trying to spot himself in the background when the show is aired. We're all hoping for a big break for him, whether this happens or not, we can not fault EKA!

  Eurokids are terrible. They take your money upfront & you are very UNLIKELY to recover it back. My son joined them & he got two jobs immediately for which Eurokids kept the whole of his wages! It states in thier contract that they will take the childs first two hours salary. The problem is your child will never receive any further work after the initial two hours as they churn new babies all the time collecting new revenue from parents like myself with join up fees/photographs etc. My son received much praise from mamas & papas for whom he did the two hours work, he was good as gold & they were over the moon with the shots which did appear in their catalogue. However, once Eurokids had taken his initial two hours wages we never heard from them again & when i asked why i was told it was because my child needed even more up to date pictures for which i would have to part with further cash in addition to the £135 i initially sent. Do not use unless you are prepared to throw constant cash at them which you will not get back. I have friends who have also used Eurokids & experienced exactly the same as me.

  To be honest it is a waste of money... i joined them about 5 Months ago and i never heard of them since... i called them many times but nothing happend. no castings nothing... The photo shoot is really expensive and you have to pay also for the registration. I spend about 200£ =( although the staff is quite nice i wouldnt recommend it at all...

• Genuine Agency Super staff

  Excellent agency. When you join you pay for initial photos which are about the same price (and as good) as those from a professional photographer. Can recover the cost of photos with just one job. The agency is really effective in getting work for its models and actors. Not one of those agencies you'll never hear from again!
