• Needle in a haystack

  I went to the Restaurant which is recommended from my best pal. He likes the Teatime Special Banquet and says its great quality and value for money. I took my misses there and was shocked by the new additions to their menu. Authentic Dim Sums which is like Chinatown and lots of new dishes unseen elsewhere. I had Spring Onion Pancakes which are recommended by their fluent English speaking waiters are unique and Delicious! I ordered Diced Fillet Cubes with Chilli & Garlic for main course; it was the best fillet I've ever tasted. It was unlike other fake fillet serving elsewhere, the centre of the chunky fillet is succulent and free of any meat tenderiser. If you are as serious as I am with beef, you know what I mean. My wife had Thai Fish Cake for starter which tasted fresh, Red Thai Curry with Lamb Fillet for main. It was a memorable evening for both of us. An Old Building with established business, interior and amenities can improve but if it is good food you are looking for. Dragon and Phoenix deserves to be one of your choices for oriental dining.

  Well it is a saturday night. I have come to the Dragon & Phoenix for a nice meal. Since i have come with a big party, i have come earlier to have the cheap banquet at a bargain for £8.95. Its 5 courses! The service was great and the food even better. Definitely recommended. If i had one critism it would be the toilets. They are slightly too small but should not affect your evening at the restuarant. Jimmy the manager is great. If you become a good customer he really makes you feel special.
