  I am sorry that your cat was so poorly and I do understand how you felt at such a sad time. However, The out of hours service at Rees vet centre is not part of the practise and therefore is run as an entirely seperate business. So I feel Rees was not to blame for your experience. Did you make a complaint at all? If you have issues with the ER then you should complain to them. In my experience in my twenty years of receiveing treatemnt for my pets I have always received excellent care and treatment from this practise as I am sure many others have too. They have saved the lives of my animals when all hope had been given up. So complain to the correct people!

• Awful out of hours service - avoid at all costs

  I took my cat to the emergency out of hours service and I am extremely unhappy with the care he received. He was very sick and kept in over the weekend. He was left in a room with no heating and I have serious doubts over his care and treatment. The staff were uncommunicative, hard to understand and evasive. They seemed to have little interest in his recovery and could't get me to sign the euthanasia form quickly enough. I will never take any of my pets to this vets again.
