I consulted Dr Cosgrave in April of this year in relation to a back complaint. Prior to seeing Dr Cosgrave, I had been unable to stand up straight due to the pain in my lower back and was in absolute agony. Dr Cosgrave was able to see me on short notice and was able to explain exactly what the problem was with my back and how I had probably caused the problem. He was able to manipulate my back in such a way that was gentle, fairly pain free and fast. Straight after the treatment, I was able to straighten up and walk properly and I actually felt refreshed as before I had felt very tired. Since the treatment, I have had no further problems and thus would recommend Dr Cosgrave to anyone, male or female, who is suffering from lower back pain.

I dislocated my shoulder whilst on holidays and thought it was ok until Dr David Cosgrave explained to me that there would be internal damage to the joint capsule and that some of the stabilising muscles would be weak as a result of the trauma. When he examined me he demonstrated the weakness so we started a 6 week rehabilitation course that involved special 'active release' treatments for the damaged muscle and strengthening exercises for the shoulder. I am now back playing cricket and the shoulder is a lot more stable. Without Dr David Cosgrave and his thorough approach and structured treatment programme I feel I may done more damage to my shoulder without even knowing it.
